Trends to look for in 2016
2016 seems like it will be an especially exciting time for many of us. Businesses are growing, people are starting families and working to find their own version of happiness. And of course at the center of all of it is fashion. It's your hello before your audible hello to the world. we got many new trends that are carrying over into the new year. This includes the neutral 2 piece skirt sets and the minimalist aesthetic in popular fashion. I have seen some promising trends that I think may be worth exploring. And if 2016 is anything like 2015, we are in for some pretty awesome options. Click the pictures for buying details.
I will admit that this trend still has to grow on me. I like it, but it still carries this connotation of "teacher" everytime I see it. I know I'm not alone in this. I have begun to give it more of a chance and have found some cute pieces that make me want to see more of this trend. This is can either be dressed as a statement print or a complimentary accent.
This trend is admittedly a carry over from 2015. But it was recently cemented with Pantone's colors of the year (see my post on the subject). Muted colors on suede are not only great for this winter season but all year around also. You can't go wrong with an outfit based around a suede centerpiece. It is much easier to dress up or down and can work on every complexion.
I am most excited about this trend. It has been climbing into prominence recently. I enjoy watching different bloggers tackle this trend. It is such an audacious risk that stretches what we usually accept as wearable fashion. My favorite prints are polka dots and cheetah print. Seeing the differing colors and sizes of these prints are really exciting. I cannot wait to see how far people take this trend in 2016.
Ciao for Now,
